This is the first in a series of podcasts that will offer the tools and experience for practicing Shalom in your life.
In “The Shalom Personality”, Rabbi Yisroel Miller says, “that shalom is a world in itself, a world of immense space and incredible beauty, and we can realize that this world is open to all of us to visit, and that we can truly enjoy the challenge of exploring it, if we can only learn to do so one step at a time”. Shalom does mean peace and hello and goodbye but far more than that it is an intentional state of completeness and balance within ourselves that we can each cultivate and nurture. I believe that when we create shalom within we increase the amount of shalom in the world and we become better able to be vessels of shalom and carry it into a world that desperately needs balance, completeness and peace. We also increase our ability to access physical and emotional health.
